(KFTK) — A recent survey has revealed that 70% of millennials are somewhat or extremely likely to vote for a socialist candidate.

The YouGov–Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation conducted the poll that also revealed that 50% of millennials — those between the ages of 23 and 38 — have a somewhat or very unfavorable view of capitalism.

Interestingly, the poll found that millennials do not have as many negative feelings about socialism and communism as older generations who lived through the Cold War.

The survey asked 2,100 U.S. respondents over the age of 16 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points, according to the Hill.

The organization claims to "tell the truth about communism" and promote a vision "for a world free from the false hope of communism."
