ST. CHARLES (KFTK) UPDATE: Both children have been found safe, according to police.

The St. Charles Police Department has issued an Amber Alert for an abduction incident that occurred at 2009 Santa Monica St., in St. Charles, Mo. at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 5.

A hispanic female, Alexia Marez, 1, was last seen wearing a white and pink flower onesie and blue pants, and a hispanic male Fernando Marez, 3, was wearing a blue shirt and grey sweatpants. Both children have black hair.

A tan 4-door SUV with a Missouri license plate, a portion of the number "E15," was last seen going westbound from the scene.

The possible suspect is believed to be Fernando Marez-Casseas, a hispanic male, 24, wearing blue t-shirt, black vest, dark blue jeans, and Champion shoes with tattoos of the children's names on both arms.

Officers were advised by the victim that the father of her children had arrived unannounced at approximately 10:30 a.m. to visit with the children.

According to police, the biological father reportedly raped the mother of the children and threated to kill their son if she reported to police before leaving the scene around 11:30 a.m. with two unknown hispanic males.

Anyone seeing the abducted child, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the Amber Alert should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Charles Police Department  at 636-949-3300.
