Fox2 reported just before 5 p.m. that the bear was removed from the building.
Tom Meister, bear expert with Missouri Department of Conservation says the bear is hiding in the ceiling inside the middle school.
Meister said the bear may have smelled the lunches and wandered into the building.
Eureka Police and Missouri Conversation employees were on the scene at 350 East Fourth Street.
There are multiple posts on the Eureka communtity Facebook page about a bear that was in the area, Monday.
It's unclear if that is the same bear that is inside the Most Sacred Heart building.
