Dr. Hardeman on gatherings: ‘I don’t know if we all know what makes these contagious events take place’

Dr. Scott Hardeman from Urgent Specialists says there is a lot of misinformation being spread about getting together with loved ones for the holidays.

Dr. Scott Hardeman said the St. Louis case numbers are steady or going down but the overall national numbers are having a small uptick.

The vaccine has been the biggest obstacle surrounding COVID. There are about 5 in stage three studies.

Hardeman said there is a variety of things that need to happen in order to get the virus under control, including a vaccine as well as therapeutics.

Developing antibodies to this disease is a good thing and it will help those who have contracted the virus not contract it again, according to Hardeman.
