State Representative Darren Bailey is suing Gov. J.B. Pritzker over the stay-at-home order that will be extended until May 31 in the state of Illinois.

“I have filed a suit, representing me personally as an individual,” he said. “He does not have the authority or the ability to extend this order.”

Is this something that will affect change quickly or will it take some time?

“I certainly want this to get immediate attention,” he said.

Is this a possibility that the Governor is trying to tank the state to get a bailout?

Bailey said that is a possibility, but he said he is not 100% sure that would be the reasoning.
