Founder of the Walk Away Campaign Brandon Straka lived his life as a Democrat before the 2016 election. He said he was not politically active and didn’t really care about who was president and who wasn’t.

Straka voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. After seeing her lose, and seeing the media manipulation and the Democrats constantly attacking Trump, he decided to delve into why this narrative about Trump was being thrown in his face so much.

He said he walked away from the Democratic Party because that political side started to become what they so vehemently hated.

Over the last two years, Straka has built his campaign on the idea that you don’t have to conform to a political party. In addition, if you have had an eye-opening experience that has led you to consider a different political party, you should do it guilt-free.
