Host of the Evening Edit Elizabeth MacDonald said she is not buying into the headlines saying there are risks in the economy right now.

She explained that this is a great suppression, not a recession.

“This is a pandemic suppression where the government is just starting into a lockdown,” she said.

This week, the market took a dive and MacDonald said it is because stimulus talks hit a wall, not because of the SCOTUS vacancy.

“I think that Washington headlines and the fight over the Supreme Court will resolve itself,” she said.
