"Sophie was a Warhawk through and through. She was a Marine. Most of all, she was our family," said head football coach Chris Miller to People Magazine

One of Delott’s teammates, Bruno Boyens added that “she just meant so much to us and this whole football program. She brought out the orange and green like no one else could.”

A GoFundMe has been set up to help relieve the costs for Sophia's family and already has raised over $8,500 of it's $10,000 goal.

Sophia was the only female on her football team, and it's clear that the entire team is going to miss her dearly.
