(KFTK) - Netflix is celebrating on Twitter after officially acquiring the online streaming rights to all 180 episodes of "Seinfeld."

The streaming service says the popular 1990s sitcom will be available for all users in the U.S. and around the world in 2021.

According to the LA Times, Netflix paid more than $500 million for the rights to "Seinfeld," which is more than what both NBCUniversal paid for rights to "The Office" and WarnerMedia paid for the rights to "Friends."
