Former Gov. Eric Greitens files to run for office again in Missouri

He resigned as governor in 2018 after an invasion of privacy case against him was dropped by the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo (KFTK) - Former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens has filed to run for office in 2024, according to a document filed with the Missouri Ethics Committee. 

It states that on June 9, a committee called "Greitens for Missouri" filed for Greitens to run as a Republican for statewide office in the June 2024 elections.

The filling is not a formal announcement of candidacy and it doesn't specify what office Greitens could be running for.
