HEROIC VIDEO: Trooper rescues man from burning car on St. Louis interstate

The Missouri Highway Trooper heard yelling coming from the vehicle tipped on its side and engulfed in flames.

(KFTK) - A Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper jumped into action and rescued a driver trapped inside of a burning vehicle on Saturday.

Trooper Brock Teague and St. Louis County Police Department Officer Angela Isaacs arrived on the scene of a rollover crash on Intestate-255 at Intestate-55 around 2 a.m. They saw a vehicle tipped on its side and engulfed in flames. And then they heard a voice yell from inside the vehicle. 

Video from the Isaacs' camera shows Teague move to the rear of the vehicle and clear glass from the back window. He pulled the victim out of the fire through the back window to grab his hand, then picked him up and carried him to safety.

In the video, you can hear Teague and the other officer shouting, "Hurry up, hurry up, C'mon man!" and 

Authorities say the driver suffered no injuries. 

Teague sustained smoke inhalation and was taken to a hospital for treatment, then released.
