A lot of people are feeling lucky ahead of Super Bowl LIII.

Over 22 million people are expected to bet on the big game, and they’re planning to spend more than $6 billion in wagers, according to the American Gaming Association.

This activity is up 26 percent from last year. That’s in part because this is the first Super Bowl since sports betting was legalized in several more states outside Nevada.

Apparently gamblers are expected to bet more on the Los Angeles Rams than the New England Patriots, experts say.

And come next year, there could be even more gambling on the super bowl. Dozens of additional states plus Washington D.C. are considering legalizing sports betting.
