Officials in New York we're immediately sure if the 15-pound, 5-ounce baby born last week in an upstate hospital was the biggest ever in the state's history. But the New York Health Department did tell the New York Post, they hadn't seen reports of any newborn that was bigger.

Joy Buckley told the Post her daughter needed some assistance in breathing with an oxygen machine, but is expected to be released from the hospital next week. And mom will have some recovering of her own to do.

"I felt like I was hit by two tractor-trailers. It was pretty violent. She got stuck under my ribcage." Buckley described to the Post.

Harper Buckley, at 23.2-inches, is the size of an average 6-month-old.

"She may end up with a linebacker build, just like me," Buckley, who is 5'8" and 210-pounds told the Post.
