The U.S. Postal Service has announced it will not deliver mail Wednesday in honor of former President George H.W. Bush.

President Donald Trump has declared Wednesday, Dec. 5 a National Day of Mourning in honor of the 41st president, with federal government agencies closing on that day.

That includes the post office, which in a written statement said it would suspend delivery and close all branches out of respect for Bush's "vast contributions to our country during his lifetime."

"Limited package delivery" will still happen Wednesday.
