(KFTK) - Time has released its annual "100 Most Influential People in the World" issue, which features the people making the most change in our world – accompanied by a letter written by someone close to them.

President Donald Trump made the list and former governor of New Jersey Chris Christie commemorated the President's foreign policy strategies.

Christie wrote:

"Every modern U.S. President tries to influence the world. President Donald Trump has done this through opposing the NATO countries not paying their fair share, pushing China and our North American neighbors for fairer trade agreements and withdrawing from the Iran nuclear agreement."

He also complimented Trump on his dealings with North Korean Chairman Kim Jong Un, saying "The President’s supreme confidence in his own ability to persuade others to make a deal is now the basis for American denuclearization policy toward North Korea."

You can read the full letter here.

Another most-influential person named by Time was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who was congratulated by Hillary Clinton. Her letter to Pelosi read in part:

"As Democrats continue fighting to protect reproductive rights, pass paid family leave, protect Americans’ right to affordable health care and hold this Administration to account, Nancy is leading the charge.

There’s a saying that goes: “If you want something done, ask a busy woman to do it.” Speaker Nancy Pelosi is living proof that when it comes to getting the job done, more often than not, it takes a woman."
