Jared Halpern says that there are supposed to be votes on two immigration bills today, but there isn't certainty that there will be a vote. It seems there hasn't been a lot of coordination between the Exeutive Orders and the legislation in the House of Representatives. There isn't equal support for both bills. There is more support for the compromise bill. It bridges some gaps between the conservative offer and moderates. Speaker Ryan has said that even if nothing passes today, their still moving forward because ideas are out on the table. The democrats have made a lot of proposals, but they won't get support in the House of Representatives.
