Former Special Assistant to the President and Press Secretary to the Vice President, Marc Lotter, says the truth is the most important thing that needs to be held to the highest standards.

He’s referring to the new knowledge that was released by The New York Times stating then-candidate Donald Trump was planning on erecting a tower in Moscow, Russia. Trump did not go through with the deal.

"It should not surprise anyone that an international real estate development company was looking to develop real estate internationally," Lotter explained. "His dream of doing something in Russia goes back decades. This is not a surprise,"

Lotter points out that it’s not illegal to do business with the Russians as a businessman.

“This White House has complied with the special counsel every step of the way,” he said.
