It's sad they put this much energy into shortcuts, instead of picking up books

"Something like this isn’t just conjured up," Fox Nation's Tyrus said about the campus admission scandal. 

Tyrus said what killed him the most about the scandal was the level the guy that was hired by the parents went to, to make the kid's admission believable.

“Gaming the system like that is reprehensible,” he said.

These are bulldozer parents. They want to shield their kids from what reality is and what struggle feels like. How do we get back to a place where perception isn’t the goal?

Annie and Tyrus agree that we’ve got to check the ego at the door and stop caring so much about image.

“It’s a control issue. They’re making promises like nothing will ever hurt you,” Tyrus said on the ‘bulldozer’ parents trying to protect their kids from failure.
