Andrew Gillum, Democrat candidate for Florida Governor, just got Veritas-ed. I don’t know how many votes are changed when these videos surface, but this one uncovers some naked truth about the evolution of Andrew Gillum’s campaign and agenda as hopeful Governor of Florida.

The investigative team at Project Veritas infiltrated one of Gillum’s campaign offices and had in-depth conversations with Omar Smith, a fairly open and honest full-time staffer and also former college roommate of Gillum’s.

Smith weighed in on the political spectrum, setting the parameters from the extreme left to the extreme right.

Smith: “So you have the extreme right-wingers, those are the Trump, and the crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy Republicans. The Progressives are the crazy crazy crazy Democrats. Your hipsters, your hippies.” Smith then proceeds to confirm that Gillum is part of this Progressive classification.

Smith: “Gillum is a progressive. He’s part of the crazy, crazy, crazies.”

In another part of the expose, Smith goes on to explain that without corporate tax increases, the programs Gillum has promised would not be able to develop or even exist.

PV Journalist: “[Gillum’s] counting on the Corporate Tax to fund all the programs he wants to fund?”

Smith: “Correct.”

When pressed by the Project Veritas journalist about the promise Gillum is making to voters while understanding those promises wouldn’t be funded outside of the increase of corporate taxes, the journalist asks if the voters know that’s the case.

Smith: “That’s not for them to know. Remember our saying, modern day fairy tales start with ‘once I am elected,’” Smith replies.

Speaking of fairy tales and the usefulness of them during campaign season, Smith explained the advantage a candidate can create by employing a strong fairy tale.

Smith: “Let’s go back to Mr. Gillum’s platform, right? Raise the corporate tax in Florida from seven to eleven percent. That will never happen. Raise teacher pay to $50,000, that will never happen…Medicare for all, that will never happen. The reason being the legislature that writes the bills is all Republican controlled. Democratic governor, Republican legislature. So unless the legislature writes a bill, and it got voted on the floor, it cannot pass.”

That’s when this starts to take a sharp left turn for the worse. How does Smith suggest these policies gain support amongst voters?

Smith: “You have to appeal to White Guilt.”

Also Smith: “You whip them up—the poor, the middle income. You have to whip them up into a frenzy in order for them to vote.”

Also, also Smith: Florida “is a f***ed up ass state…it’s a cracker state…Ask anybody outside of here.”

Maybe we should revisit the assertions from progressive talking heads about the Right being responsible for inciting fear and hate. That glass house seems pretty small right now.
