President Trump unveiled his administration’s new immigration rules this morning.

“We have to keep these parents with their children,” Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said. “We decided it’s better for the parents and the children to stay together.”

Obama had made a law that separated children from their parents, Trump is trying to bring them back together. Something the mainstream media fails to report on.

The president is boarding a plane heading to Kentucky right now and stopped to speak with the press beforehand. He was asked about background checks.

Hogan Gidley reiterated Trump’s sentiment.

We’ve got to work hard on enacting better background checks so that guns are not in the hands of “mentally unstable” people, Gidley said.
