Tyrus said he is ashamed of Smollett's actions because it set us back in divisiveness. 

“The brother was making $60 grand an episode,” he said. “He has got a very good life, so that’s the part that really bothers me.”

Although Jussie’s actions were embarrassing, the worst part of this farce was the thought that this selfish act diminishes actual accusations of real cases of racism and homophobia.

The press conference Eddie Johnson, Chicago Police Department Superintendent, held this morning was heartbreaking.

Tyrus said you can tell that Superintendent Johnson was just as confused as the rest of us.
