Villa: "I wore the dress because I believe in what the president is saying"

Singer-songwriter Joy Villa is known for her big political fashion statements when walking the red carpet.
“I’ve been using my voice steadily for years,” Villa said about using her platform to speak up about issues that mean something to her.

“At the Grammys, people were giving me side eye,” she said on her red carpet gown. “They were turning their backs on me.”
Villa says she faces onslaught when she does something bold. She says it creates a problem.
Joy shared her story on becoming a conservative and a Trump-voter.
“This guy sounds like my dad!” Joy said on how she started to really like Trump and his message. “Under Trump, I saw a message of unification.”
