IL Lawmaker “Broth of Legionella” Comments Expunged from the Record

Democratic state representative Stephanie Kifowit said, on the house floor, that she’d like to pump “a broth of Legionella” into a Republican colleague’s water leading to the death of his family.

She has since apologized for others misunderstanding her comments, but there are calls for her resignation. However, Greg Bishop says the legislature agreed to wipe the comments from the official records.

“If historians were to go back and look at the official records of the house transcript, those comments won’t be there,” says Bishop.

Meanwhile in Illinois, Governor-elect J.B. Pritzker is gearing up to meet with AFSCME when he takes office in January.

The guy that ran on a chicken in every pot is already picking pots.
