(KFTK) Governor Parson announced his bid for re-election to an excited crowd in Missouri.

The Governor joins the show to discuss the growth the state of Missouri has experienced since his time in office. He believes we’re continuing to move in the right direction.

When asked about the violence in St. Louis, Governor Parson says he’s available and willing to help but expects local leaders to do their part.

“I’m more than happy to put boots on the ground,” says Gov. Parson.

However, you can’t just throw money at a problem. The Governor points to affective anti-violence initiatives in Kansas City.
