Schools Should Be Proactive

Former superintendent Jerry Hobbs joins Marc this morning to discuss what measures current administrators and teachers should be taking to insure the safety of their students.

Hobbs says limiting entryways and a regimented check in process for guests are just a couple of things that school districts could do.

Metal detectors? Hobbs says although those are a good idea, they’re expensive.

Marc raises the point that they may fall under the umbrella of a bond issue.
