The Bulwark's Senior Editor, Jim Swift, joined Randy Tobler to discuss his latest piece concerning Congressional pay.

"There's this dichotomy here, because most people like their member of Congress, more or less," says Swift, "and don't like the rest of them."

Swift says most members of Congress are paid about $174-thousand dollars a year.

Since House districts, by law are all approximately the same size on population, Swift says, "why not make it the rule that they get a dollar in salary for every vote that they get."
