The Randy Tobler Show
November 29, 2018 - 11:27 am

SLU Law Professor Greg Willard tells Randy that the "dust-up" between Chief Justice John Roberts and President Donald Trump was "sadly unfortunate."

Willard says the blame is at "1600 Pennsylvalia Avenue."  He says the comments in the context of the asylum rule, and his pointed comments at the federal judge were unfortunate.

He points to Congress as the way to fix the asylum issue. "The plenary power for naturalization and immigration is right there in the constitution, and its the Congress."

Willard says there are memos with a plan for asylum seekers to "remain in Mexico" which would be a new way to deal with the influx of refugees.
