Dr Michael Mahon joined Randy to discuss the latest rash of violence across the country.  

Randy asked about the "lone-wolf" syndrome that seems to be a trait of the lateste group of shooters. 

"When you talk about people who are going and shooting up, Wal-Marts or schools or things like that.  That's really about social rejection," says Mahon.   "There's been studies done, where social rejection has been acutally proven to change the chemistry of a person's brian"

"When people are rejected, they feel physical pain and it causes them to want to do something to get back at those people," says the host of Psych with Mike.
