Salute To Service: Chris Miller
Chris Miller joined the Army before 9/11 and by the time the wars started, was in a job that didn't require him to go overseas.
"After doing that for 4 years, I decided that it wasn't fair to not go, so I called the Pentagon and volunteered to go to war," Miller explains. "I chose to fight when I didn't have to because it was the right thing to do, and I still live with the injuries I received 10 years later."
Since coming home, Miller tries to live a normal life. He went to college to become a high school teacher. He and his wife started a local nonprofit to help veterans in the community.
