Cully Stimson: ‘This is a test for governors, even more than it’s a test for the president’

(KFTK) – Heritage senior legal fellow Cully Stimson explained that when you see the state governments step up and make discussions for their areas, it is not because Trump is not capable; it’s because that is their job.

“There is a lot of un-serious journalism going on here,” he said.

Will these temporary measures bleed into our normal, ever day life when the virus wave is over?

Stimson said he understands the worry, but these measures will be put back into their constitutional place once the states do not need them anymore.

“They are part of a tool kit that governors have,” he said.

He said that distributing this type of power is very important. Our founding fathers knew state power was essential in different types of circumstances.
