How do we encourage people to get back to work?

Research Fellow in economics, budget and entitlements at Heritage said businesses are finding that their employees don’t want to come back to work until their benefits run out.

This isn’t surprising since unemployment benefits are so great, people are making more being unemployed than they might be getting their paycheck at their job.

“We need to get people back to work,” she said in order to get the economy running again. We shouldn’t have faith that if we stay on track as we are now we will magically prolong a stimulated economy.

A “back to work” incentive has was purposed for people who are unemployed right now.

This doesn’t seem like a fair foundation.

“I don’t think this is the solution, we need to fix the problem that was broken,” she said.
