Protestors for "Strike for Black Lives" took over Tucker Boulevard in Downtown St. Louis on Monday. All across the country, essential workers walked off the job to demand wage raises, better health care and paid sick leave, and the right to unionize in an effort to combat systemic racism in the workforce. Tony Colombo and Rachel Zimmerman saw the protests unfold right outside of 97.1 FM Talk and decided to go down to the scene to get a better look.

The vehicles on Tucker Boulevard in the video appear to be a part of the protest. Many vehicles displayed BLM signs or signs supporting wage raises.
