Jack Dorsey is making it easy on his employees... by letting them know that they can work from home FOREVER! Seriously, as long as a Twitter employee's physical presence isn't required (such as employees that maintain servers, ect.), they can work from home as long as they want. Even after the COVID-19 lockdown is over.

A Twitter representative confirmed that Doresey had told employees of the permanent work from from situation, saying the social media platform was “one of the first companies to go to a WFH model in the face of COVID-19, but [doesn’t] anticipate being one of the first to return to offices.”

Twitter's offices have been closed since March, and they plan to stay closed until at least September. San Francisco, where Twitter HQ is located, is on a stay at home order until the end of May. The company has also announced that they are cancelling all in-person company events for the remainder of 2020, and they are re-evaluating their events schedule for 2021.

Jack Dorsey is a St. Louis native. Besides being the co-founder and CEO of Twitter, he is also the founder and CEO of Square, a mobile payments company founded in St. Louis.
