Dr. Karlandine Graves is a family medical doctor based out of Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Graves joins the show today to explain a roadblock prescribing Hydroxychloroquine. The drug, in some studies, appears to be showing promise in combating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Graves explains that family physicians, the folks that know their patients’ medical history the best, are currently not able to prescribe the drug.

“The quicker we can get to it in treating patients, the better results we’re going to have,” says Dr. Graves.
