Governor Mike Parson joins the show to discuss the statewide opening of our economy and police reform. The Governor explains his decision-making and how following the models early on proved problematic as information was inconsistent.

“I finally said to heck with all of these models,” says Parson.

The Governor describes focusing on resources and combating the spread.

On the issue of police reform locally, and nationwide, Governor Parson says disarming and defunding are ‘two terrible options’. He says we have to support law enforcement and that before the death of George Floyd, the St. Louis region was constantly asking his office for more officers to help combat homicide rates.
