There’s a ‘real urge’ to get many things passed in the Missouri legislature by some officials. Missouri Senator Bill Eigel (R-Dist 23) joins Marc to discuss the push to pass the omnibus bill, filled with last-minute legislation.

“We’re spending like never before,” says Eigel.

Eigel says he and Senator Burlison feel this legislation is ‘the wrong way to go’ and both voted no.

“I don’t like passing a whole lot of legislation in the first place.”

Eigel says there are ‘tens of thousands of pages’ of last-minute legislation that some are trying to push through at the last minute; using the COVID-19 crisis as justification.
