The recently renovated Soldiers Memorial in downtown St. Louis was vandalized, apparently, sometime overnight Saturday.

The words "No War" and hammer and sickles were spray-painted in red, at multiple locations at the northeast corner of the memorial. One man from Illinois showed up on Monday morning and was trying to clean the red paint off of the recently renovated monument.
